Turtle Head at Red Rock Canyon II

The small ravine on the left holds the foot path that leads ever upwards.  At this point, I wondered if I would make the whole trip. 

Looking back, at the distance I had covered so far, shows the white sandstone ridge in the Quarry...the trail I had followed is defined on the left.

I've made it up into ravine, I'm on the left hand side of Turtle Head at this point.  Still the distance to cover seems extreme and I felt at this point that I was looking at least another hour to reach the top.  My legs were beginning to feel the stress of the climb.  I was carrying the extra weight of a camel back water backpack and my camera but at this point, I knew I would make the top.
