Nature's fountains

These bowls are midway through the narrows and filled with moving water. This is my first experience with water in the wash and narrows.

A walk into the Narrows

This unique twist of nature is about 175 yards long. It has to be seen to fully appreciate its beauty.

Barrel Cactus

This little cluster of cacti was about 100 feet over our heads, it's zoomed with a Sony digital.

The path

At some points the walls are three and half feet apart and the canyon wall is 100 feet or more over our heads.

He's the only person I've ever taken on this trip that stopped to look at every rock. Some people look at every 15 or so.

We found this in the floor of the wash, unmoving...we think. We were damn careful around it.

Shells/Rocks

Water running over these rocks in the lower wash gives them the appearance of sea shells.
